Refitting Design Project
A refitting operation allows a vessel to be upgraded from an aesthetic point of view, but it is also an opportunity to improve it from a functional-technological point of view.
Over the years a boat model may be revised, revisited, the production yards themselves change its layout to correct past design errors or to meet new requirements.
Thanks to consolidated experience, the result of a dedication in maintenance and service gained during its activity on the main brands in the sector, CMM has made refitting a true art, synonymous with craftsmanship and quality all "Made in Italy."

STUDY OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND ITS COMPOSITION
Supported by the engineering and architecture firm ITA 31, which has been designing and outfitting luxury yachts from 15 to 40 meters for more than 16 years, the vessel is reworked in every space with 3D rendering and modeling projects.
A large show room and staff dedicated to the research and implementation of new proposals in design and materials. Great attention is paid to the design phase through the implementation of models that faithfully reproduce what is proposed. In this way the customer can see and touch what their boat will look like even before work begins.

LAYOUT
A standard layout refers to a mass-produced boat, where the difference between one hull and another may be the different color of paint or upholstery, the use of one wood species rather than another.
CMM Yacht Service revisits an existing design and, through customization made to the client's specifications, makes it unique.
Each new project is welcomed with dynamism and creativity by the whole team, a care and attention to every detail of it that does not just renew a boat but makes it "new" and different from all the others.

LAYOUT
With a refit you can restore, renew a boat but, more interestingly, you can modify it making it unique. Every shipowner who turns to CMM knows that he or she can venture requests, express wishes, because his or her first thought is also what he or she does best: to accomplish what other shipyards do not have the chance or the ability to do.
Many different projects have engaged CMM in the course of its work: from carving out space to turn a 3-cabin yacht into 4 to modifying a small guest cabin into a spacious walk-in closet, from making a teppanyaki griddle and installing it in the relaxation area of a 40-meter fly out to the Orient to customizing a bathroom and making it into a spa on a 30-meter yacht on the French Riviera.
